This project is continuation of a sampled collaboration composed between a graphic mural piece called 'Explosion Kaleidoscope' printed on bodysuit fabric and worn by a team of dancers. Explosion Kaleidoscope is most typically printed on primed canvas & framed. Sculpted handmade paper wings & florals are mounted from 'Explosion Kaleidoscope's' center to lift directly off the canvas & interact from 2D to 3D towards the spectator. A completed piece, titled under the 'Little Wing Series' is a journey into 2D & 3D as well as a romantic relationship with the digital and handmade within elaborate color spectrums. Much more intrinsic elements include a personal venture into momentous explosions that begin from the center of ones self, physically and spiritually. 'Explosion Kaleidoscope's' first print on fabric for bodysuits deemed undoubtedly exciting to myself and a inner community of friends and fans. Therefore actions to apply Explosion Kaleidoscope mural print to textiles for men's & women's clothing items is the potential for this project. More specifically to lycra/ spandex tops, dresses and swimwear / cotton shirts & dresses. The method used to print lycra/ spandex is created through a dye-sublimation technique, a process only used with synthetic fabrics to obtain bright, vibrant colors. For cottons, a more mastered form of digital printing is used. Specified yet simplistic clothing designs are chosen to produce the printed fabrics in. The clothing's function is not more elaborate than the main necessity clothing, rather an appropriate placement on the body of Explosion Kaleidoscope's purpose to illustrate ones internal light generated from center of their being in various moments. note: Since 'Explosion Kaleidoscope's' release into the public last Autumn 2013, it has been applied to one other medium of collaboration, licensed to be printed on wallpaper by Bloompapers of Barcelona.
